VINCENT VANVLEET is the owner and manager of Theatre Management Consultants, LLC (TMC, LLC) and the Managing Director of Phoenix Theatre. He has lived in the valley for over 13 years after moving here from Chicago to join the staff of Phoenix Theatre.
Since arriving at Phoenix Theatre, Vincent created a low cost rental program that has brought other resident companies to the Phoenix Theatre arts campus. Ultimately this became the foundation for TMC, LLC as he took over the management of Playhouse on the Park at Viad Corporate Center in November 2007.
Vincent has worked with many arts organizations through the years. Prior to arriving in the Valley, Vincent served as the Production Stage Manager for the Shakespeare on the Green Festival in Chicago as well as Production Stage Manager for Writer’s Theatre Chicago. He tour managed for Cool Heat - Urban Beat and for Rennie Harris Puremovement for their national tours traveling to Lisbon, Portugal amongst many other cities and countries around the globe. Vincent has also been involved with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, Child Help, ISSSP, Shaw Chicago, The Phoenix Symphony, and Valley Leadership stage managing, directing and consulting on their special events and live stage productions. Vincent received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Barat College just outside of Chicago.
Vincent is currently acting as the project manager on the design and construction of Phoenix Theatre’s new state of the art theatre and grand lobby connecting the performance spaces and rehearsal centers. He has also acted as the project coordinator for Phoenix Theatre’s 2001 renovation of the Little Theatre and the construction of the new 7,200 square foot production building.
